Since SnowDays has been down for maintenance, I've been coloring flakes... well, actually, I've been coloring them ever since X invited us to try our hand at coloring flakes. I've become hooked. I start out by coloring them using Irfanview. Then I move them to Photobucket & use their editing options to further alter the flakes. I've found that you can get some really cool effects using these options. X recently showed me where extra options can be found at Irfanview, & I've started playing around with those, too.

Right now I'm going to post a slideshow of some of the almost 1000 flakes I've done using Photobucket options. I call this slideshow "All Things Bright & Beautiful" because it's made up of little "critter" flakes. Besides using my own flakes, I've also colored some by other flakers, who will be identified on the flakes.

I'm going to TRY to post this - I hope it works!

Okay, it works! Just click on the colored flake in the above post to see the slideshow.

Now that I know this works, I'm going to post two more slideshows to show you some of the cool slideshow options they have at Photobucket. They have MANY different themes with really cool transitions:

Here are 2 more slideshows. I named the first one "Wedding Attire" because a lot of the flakes remind me of fabrics that bridesmaids, or the mother of the bride would wear at a wedding:

The next one is called "Faces":
