Apophysis_3D_hack.exe - that's an experimental version of the software with some exiting 3d performances
Apophysis207beta.exe - that's the basic most updated version of the software.

Feel free to download it and join our little fractal madhouse!  

the reason we recommend to have both versions of the software is that some FLAME files that you can download on the web can fit to one of these versions and not the other due to the use of certain features that are not mutual to both of the versions, so by having both of them you can use a bigger variety of files.

Hi Marmite     To post your image here, you can take a screenshot using a program such as Gadwin. Save it to your files and then you can post it here as an attachment.

Hello everyone,

I tried to open the Apophysis beta version 2.07 this morning and I kept getting a message saying that 'this version has expired' so I went to Apophysis site to down load the lastest 2.08 version. Hope this link works that will take you there:

I have just downloaded and have it open now, so off I go to make a new render!

Thanks Kathryn and Sally, I was shocked when I opened up beta and it said I needed to download the new
one. I have been very busy at home so thanks so much for doing this...hugs...ria

This happened to me last week!!!  I thought I had gotten a bug and that was the reason   PM sent me another copy and it worked, so I guess I had better put it on my site so others don't get the same warning.  Oh my, I'm so confused!  LOL!

Mine started giving the message today, so I had to dload the 2.08v, too.

MY NEW 208 BETA IS JUST NOT WORKING PROPERLY...ALL I END UP WITH IS A TINY
DOT IN THE CENTER...I AM SO UPSET...I DELETED IT AND WENT AND DOWNLOADED
IT AGAIN AND SAME THING, KATHRYN AND A FEW OTHERS ALSO ARE HAVING A PROBLEM.
SOME SCIPTS DONT WORK AND I SIMPLY CANNOT MAKE ANYTHING WITH IT.

NOW FOR SOME STRANGE REASON THE 3dHACK IS ALSO ACTING UP...IT IS NOT MY
COMPUTER...I CAN DO MANY THINGS ON HERE WITH NO PROBLEM...I ALSO DELTED
THE 3D HACK AND DOWNLOADED IT AGAIN, BUT MANY SCRIPTS WONT WORK AND
EVEN THE PLUGINS ARE GIVING ME PROBLEMS...WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT?
TAKE AWAY ONE THAT IS WORKING SO GREAT AND GIVE US A LAME ONE?

I wish that could just take a magic wand and make everything better for your Ria but I am not sure on how to answer the problems you are having with both Apo programs but like I said a good portion of my scripts DO work except for about 2 or 3 that I get entirely different image than I did before - I even tried uploading the updated version to this part of the forum and all I got was some error message - I shall keep trying to upload it here.

OK...I DELETED ALL THE PROGRAMS AND WENT AND DOWNLOADED THEM AGAIN.
WHEN I DOWNLOADED IT THIS TIME THE FILE ONLY HAD THE BETA PROGRAM NOT THE
UNDO AND THE OTHER TEXT FILE THAT COMES WITH IT. I AM NOT SURE HOW IMPORTANT
THOSE ARE BUT FOR NOW BETA SEEMS TO BE WORKING FOR ME. I WILL HAVE MORE
TIME LATER TO LET YOU ALL KNOW IF IT IS FIXED. IT APPEARS TO BE BUT I NEED TO
TRY SOME SCRIPTS. SO FAR IT DOES SEEM TO BE BETTER...THANK KATHRYN FOR

YAYYYYY  ITS WORKING....HERE IS WHAT I DID WRONG.....I WENT INTO THE BETA 207 FILE AND
DELETED THE APO BUT LEFT THE THREE OTHER FILES IN THT FILE, ONE WAS AN UNDO FILE AND
ONE WAS A TEXT FILE AND ONE WAS A GRADIENT FILE. I THEN DOWNLOADED THE NEWER 208 TO
THAT SAME FILE AND HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS.
I WENT TODAY AND DELETED THE ENTIRE FILE, BETA PROGRAM, AND THREE FILES ABOVE
MADE A BRAND NEW FILE FOR BETA APO AND DOWNLOADED IT...I ONLY GOT THE BETA
ICON..NO OTHER FILES AND NOW IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING GREAT. I WILL LET YOU ALL KNOW
IF I CONTINUE TO HAVE SUCCESS.....TY TO ALL..HUGS..RIA

I HAVE TO MAKE A CORRECTION HERE...I JUST LOOKED INTO THE FILE I HAVE THE NEW 208 BETA
IN AND AGAIN THERE IS A TEXT FILE AND AN UNDO FILE....SO I WAS WRONG...THOSE TWO DO COME
WITH IT BUT THEY HAVE TO COME FROM THE NEW 208 BETA SO BE SURE TO DELETE THE ENTIRE
FILE AS I SAID ABOVE.....

WooooooHooooooo!!! Ria glad you are having better success with the updated apo program - Like I told you before the 3 scripts that I mentioned before just give me an entirely different image than it did before, that is my only complaint!!

I AGREE KATHRYN, THAT IS ALSO HAPPENING TO ME AND ALSO WITH ONE OF THE SCRIPTS
I JUST KEEP GETTING THAT SAME IMAGE OVER AND OVER....IT IS BORING LOL...TY HUGS..RIA
